"GRANDMAS FOR PEACE"

ATLANTA GRANNIES BECOME JAILBIRDS FOR PEACE
10 grandmothers and supporters, ages 57 to 80, tried to enlist in the US
Army at an Atlanta recruiting office on St. Paddy's Day. Following the
nurturing instincts of grandmas everywhere, they offered to replace young
Americans in harm's way in Iraq. When their generous offer was refused,
these gritty grannies stood their ground. "We insist! We enlist!"
When will the paddy wagons go to the White House for the real criminals? Stay
tuned. Special thanks to cameraman Bill Liggin of Artemis Productions for
providing the footage for this video.

'WATER"

We bathed in it, brush our teeth, wash our cars, water the lawn.
But in some places in the planet, children are dying because of lack of clean water.

WHAT METH DOES TO YOU

Meth is a terrible drug, it is highly addicting and people die.

MAKE POVERTY HISTORY

Everyday, while we are safe and healthy.
Somewhere in the planet, people are dying of hunger, preventable diseases and poverty.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Every day somewhere in the planet, girls and boys are lured, kidnapped and taken from their homes. Sometimes the parents sell their children, thinking they will have a better life away from the poverty they live in. But the children are taken and forced to be sex slaves.

STOP DARFUR GENOCIDE

Remembering the Golodomor

During 1932-1933 about ten million Ukrainians died of hunger.
Ukraine being such a fertile land, it is incomprehensible right?.
In any case, those were terrible times.
In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of what is called the Golodomor this video tells of a granddaughter remembering her grandmother and all those who died in the horrible famine.
